At SBG, we guide clients through every step of the kitchen remodeling and cabinet installation process. Many homeowners reach out to us when building a new house, purchasing a home, or simply wanting to refresh the look and functionality of their kitchen.
Our team of experienced kitchen designers provides clear guidance from the very beginning—helping you understand design options, materials, and timelines—so that your remodel runs smoothly from the initial consultation to the final installation of your custom kitchen cabinets.

1.
Kitchen Consultation
The design process at SBG begins with a free kitchen consultation, where you’ll meet with one of our experienced representatives to discuss your project goals. To schedule your appointment, call (301) 640-5010, email admin@sbgus.com, or fill out our contact form. If you are nearby, you’re also welcome to visit our showroom during business hours.
For the most productive consultation, bring your kitchen floor plans, measurements, and any sketches or inspiration ideas. During this meeting, our expert estimators and designers will review your vision, explain cabinet and custom millwork options, answer project questions, and provide an initial price estimate.

2.
Kitchen Proposal
After your initial design consultation and any follow-up meetings, our kitchen designers will prepare a detailed proposal based on your specific kitchen plan. This proposal outlines cabinet price ranges along with delivery and installation costs.
Once you are satisfied with the proposal, a retainer fee is required to begin the full kitchen design process.

Kitchen Cabinet Design
With the design process underway, one of our sales representatives will visit your home to take precise measurements. Using this information, we create professional shop drawings—including floor plans and elevations—through programs such as ProKitchen, 20/20, and AutoCAD.
At your request, we can also provide 3D renderings to give you a clear visual of your custom kitchen. These drawings are valuable tools for your architect and builder and play an essential role in ensuring accuracy during the kitchen design and installation process.
4.
Cabinet Order And Production
Once the shop drawings are finalized, both you and your SBG representative will review and sign off so we can place your custom kitchen cabinet order. Production of our luxury kitchen cabinets typically takes five to fourteen weeks, depending on the complexity of your kitchen and whether the cabinets are sourced from the USA or Europe.
5.
Cabinet Delivery And Installation
Our sales representatives will provide an estimated delivery date for your custom kitchen cabinets. Installation is typically scheduled one to two days after delivery and generally takes between two days and two weeks, depending on the scope of your kitchen remodel.
We recommend scheduling countertop installation approximately two weeks after templating. Upon request, we can coordinate this service with our partner brand, Granite Works.
